Stage Three: Stay the Course!

Now that you have mastered stages 1-2, you should be mentally and physically ready to adopt any additional changes that may come to play; whether it be adding more cardio time, tweaking your recovery process, consuming more or less, but for the most part, you should be staying the course at this stage throughout until you reach phase four.

For many of you, this regiment may turn out boring, and if that is the case, stage 3 is typically the culprit! If boredom occurs, begin brainstorming about the essential aspects of life, such as your family, vacation, job, pets, and so on.

The rule of thumb here is to stay engaged on the mission at hand. Another strategy you can use to continue going strong is to place images of someone you idolize around your workout area, and place them in locations you frequently visit such as your car, office, or bathroom. You can even place past pictures of what you looked like whether recent or during the first phase that serves as an incentive to carry on the campaign!
